2008 not only Liverpool's Capital of Culture year but also Host to the Best International Handball Tournament for many a year.
Liverpool Handball Club would like to take this opportunity to thank every club/player/referee/spectator/Grenbank's staff for making this years Tournament so good...Thank You, but before i carry on with more info about the games and drunken antics of several of you.....(you know who you are) i would like to take this chance to Personally thank a few people on behalf of all the participants and people who enjoy the competition every year.
Firstly the two young...ish ladies who work relentlessly behind the scenes and play a major roll in the tournament running as smoothly as it does, so a big thank you to Louise "Fletch" Fletcher & Paula "Pinky" Newnes.
Secondly again on behalf of everyone at Liverpool Handball Club and everyone who came to and enjoyed this years Tournament PHIL CHURCH you did it again Phil and according to most people your effort and hard work (which most of us unfortunately take for granted) made this years tournament the best by a long way so on behalf of everyone THANK YOU very much.

Well onto the results for the the Tournament with British teams winning both titles with the ladies title going to Ruislip Eagles Ladies HC and Manchester HC Mens Team taking the mens title, well done to all participants in this years tournament i have been told to keep this bit brief and to just add the pics so now to the bit you are all waiting for the photo's....on this page will just be some team pics however all the pics are on the gallery........now  ;))
