Liverpool Handball Club achieve that highly regarded national standard Clubmark
On recieving the award Liverpool Handball Club Chairman, Peter Irving (pictured above with Richard Irving proudly displaying the Clubmark Award), commented,
"We as a club are extremely pleased to have achieved this national accreditation. It is a result of months of hard work by the club volunteers, and it is a recognition of a club dedicated to the development of junior handball. It is an award that is endorsed by all the main sporting, youth and education agencies involved in the delivery of sporting opportunity for young people. It also gives parents confidence when allowing their child to take part in sporting activity, and encourages participation".
This award is in timely anticipation of the partnership LHC have developed with Warrington Wolves SSP to develop a Handball Acadedmy.
Breaking News - Kelly Davis who is still only 17 yrs of age (for the next couple of weeks anyway) has been invited to join the GB LADIES TEAM in Denmark for a 3 month initial period with the opportunity of extending her stay if everything goes to plan.
Kelly who is an outstanding young player and won the players player of the year with LHC Ladies Team is very excited about this opportunity and is looking forward to her trip, though she has commented that she will miss the "Laughs with the club members".
Everyone at LHC is extremely proud of Kelly's achievements and we would all like to say well done Kelly, keep up the good work and all your effort training as it is paying off, enjoy your time and live the dream.
WELL DONE KELLY ENJOY YOURSELF :)
